• In-store Agent – An in-store agent is required at the store. This functionality is automatically provided by in-store kiosks or the agent software can run on any Windows-based hardware.
  • Internet Access & Transaction Security – All connections from the store to the cloud-based system use the existing store internet access and a secure channel to ensure privacy. Special firewall configurations or port mappings are not needed, as all connections are initiated within the store.
  • Instant Order Confirmation – The in-store agent or kiosk maintains a continuous connection to the cloud-based ordering system. This allows web orders to be delivered immediately to the store. In the case of a POS integration the order is delivered directly to the POS. Alternatively, the order can be printed directly on a kitchen printer or other order options are available, including fax and email.
  • Store Selection Map – The designated store is automatically selected based on customer address and distance. Delivery zones can be defined for each store. Delivery fees and minimum order amounts can be set for each store.
  • POSitouch Integration – The in-store agent or kiosk is connected to the POSitouch system using the POSitouch XML package. The XML package is used to place and confirm orders, as well as to monitor pricing and stock level.
